WELCOME!
Graduate research and training within our department focuses on all areas and hierarchical levels of the biological sciences. A diversity of research interests, perspectives and expertise’s, broadly organized across four research clusters, provides access to a broad foundation in biological sciences, yet allows students to develop depth in sub-disciplines according to their interests.
Our graduate student population is a diverse and dynamic collection of 190 graduate students. Faculty are committed to helping graduate students reach their potential while working on cutting-edge problems in the biological sciences.
Graduate student training is largely an apprenticeship process and students require a faculty supervisor prior to admission. I encourage you to explore this website fully to learn more about our people and their research, and contact specific faculty whose research program interests you.
