Dr. Dennett is a philosopher, writer and scientist whose research centers on the philosophy of biology, particularly as related to the field of evolutionary biology. He is co-director for the Center for Cognitive Studies and the Austin B. Fletcher Professor of Philosophy at Tufts University. He is also the author of several popular books, including Breaking the Spell (2006), Freedom Evolves (2003) and Darwin's Dangerous Idea (1995)
