The 58th Annual Conference of the Canadian Society of Microbiologists will take place from June 9th to 12th  2008 on the campus of the University of Calgary. We have developed an exciting scientific program, and hope you will join us in Calgary for the conference, and will get to experience both the city as well as the nearby Rocky Mountains and Banff, Jasper, and Waterton National Parks.

Please check these pages regularly for updates on the program and registration. The deadline for abstract submission will be April 15th, with the deadline for early registration April 30th.

Registration through the web site is now closed.  However, on-site registration will still be available at the conference. For those wishing to register for the entire conference, the rates will be the same as the rates after May 1st, but will not include the banquet ticket. 


Single day registration will be available at the following rates:

CSM Member: $ 100 
Non-member : $ 120 
CSM Member Student:  $ 70 
Non-member student:  $ 85

MAY 4th 2008


Submission of abstracts has closed; we have received over 200 abstracts.  We would ask invited symposium speakers who have not yet submitted their abstracts to do so as soon as possible.  Registrations are still open, though the fees have increased slightly.  Please do not delay in making bookings for residence or hotels, as these are likely to fill up rapidly.
