Research Interests

Signal transduction mechanisms integrating the neuroendocrine regulation of vertebrate pituitary hormone release, especially in fishes.
Neuroendocrine regulation of reproduction and growth.
Evolution of receptors and post-receptor mechanisms of hypothalamic neuropeptides and bioamines, particularly GnRH peptides, PACAP, somatostatins, Ghrelin, serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine.
