Research Interests
Darren's academic interests are at the
interface of biology and geography, particularly in landscape
ecology, conservation GIS and biodiversity informatics.
His work integrates quantitative spatial tools into ecological
research, and his interests include spatially-explicit
population modelling, geostatistical species-range estimation,
and GIS-based biodiversity assessment. He has also been
active in field-based wildlife research, particularly
on small mammals.
